It is now available for customers downloading their software updates from the web. For customers having a company-specific update package, we&#8217;ll start deliveries in the coming weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new features and changes are described in the \u201c<strong>CSI Lawyer version 12.0 \u2013 Change document<\/strong>\u201d, available on the Instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The change document and update instructions have also been sent to the power users of CSI Lawyer customers downloading their update packages from the web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the new the features are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General improvements in software usability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Searches in the payments list and in all fields containing a magnifying glass are now quicker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CSI icon in the Windows bottom bar notifies the user of new reminders and messages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Customer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The conflict search takes into account the customer&#8217;s entire name history&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The review cycle (former validity) and the review date of customer identifications have been added on the lists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Besides an invoicing email, it is possible to add multiple cc recipients for a customer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permissions for the Merge function can be restricted to a user group only <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matter request and matter&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As a default invoicing contact for matters, it is possible to set a user in a matter responsibility role<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the matter, it is possible to send email to the contact person directly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer number and responsible and reference have been added to the \u201cMatter Details\u201d report<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matters with a price limit can be set for monitoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is possible to edit matter type and business area of lists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the role-based pricing model, role prices can be overridden by the customer\u2019s hour price<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is possible to override the discount table on a preliminary invoice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matter-specific transaction type prices can be copied to sub-matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Entries <\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Character count has been added in the Transaction field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the start time and duration of critical tasks, it is possible to set default values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to move and delete expenses can be limited to a user group only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By default, entry security parameters restrict visibility of entries to the author only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Users can add notes to expenses and transactions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For work time entries, it is possible to set rounding accuracy&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preliminary invoice <a><\/a><a><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Open and Approved Preliminary Invoices view has replaced the Open Preliminary Invoices view<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formatting made to the transactions list of a preliminary invoice remains unchanged until the preliminary invoice window is closed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only a customer that is in a payer role in the matter can be changed as a preliminary invoice payer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When approving preliminary invoices of matters in a foreign currency, the prices of its entries are recalculated with a valid exchange rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Invoices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Normal, credit and summary invoice printouts display rounding and exchange rate differences, and the currency rounding row enables aligning invoices created from foreign currency matters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The credit invoice amount can be calculated based on selected invoice rows\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Invoice Printing Parameters window is automatically closed when previewing an invoice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summary invoices can be printed with original sums and their payment demands as PDFs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When sending invoices by email, the invoice type is added as a prefix to the name of the invoice PDF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Total Amount row has been added in the specification page of the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian invoice templates, and the Estonian country package also contains an Invoice template offering a country-specific specification page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Power users have been added to the \u201cPermanent insider list\u201d report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Settings&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigation permissions can be set more flexibly by using the new workspace field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New users with required user groups can be created by using an existing user as a template<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is possible to edit budget groups and hour prices of multiple users, and multiple budget rows at once<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power users can send connection keys also for test and history databases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Integrations and plugins<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For entering transactions, users can be granted access to CSI MyDesk only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Latvian and Lithuanian customers, there are country package plugins available, offering country specific bilingual invoice templates and reference material
