How does CSI invoice of CSI Lawyer use?

17. January, 2019

CSI Lawyer fees are invoiced quartely afterwards based on actual system use.

The user-based CSI Lawyer fee is invoiced of calendar months when a user has been using the system. E.g. if a user is on vacation all July not using CSI Lawyer at all, there will be no user fee for him/her. Similarly, fees stop automatically for users who leave the company.

CSI receives the information of monthly user amounts in an activation report which is created and sent automatically from the customer’s system.
The report contains information about monthly active and passive users. Passive users have a smaller fee.

Active usersĀ either:

  • Use CSI Lawyer normally for saving, updating or removing information OR
  • Use CSI Lawyer only for reviewing information but someone else is adding registrations for them.

Passive users either:

  • Use CSI Lawyer only for reporting or reviewing information and no registrations are added for them OR
  • Do not even log into CSI Lawyer but someone else is adding registrations for them.

The CSI invoice may also contain

  • Company-based CSI Lawyer fee; if the customer has 10+ users
  • Cloud service hosting fee (data storage’s Ms SQL Server CAL fee; for customers using CSI Lawyer as CSI’s cloud service
  • Integration fees; if integrated e.g. to a separate document management or bookkeeping system
  • CSI Mobile fees; if transactions to CSI Lawyer are added with a mobile add
  • CSI Plugin fees; if a customer has in use customer-based plugins providing additional functionality.
