CSI LAWYER 10.1 HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

CSI Lawyer version 10.1 is now available for customers getting their software updates from the web. Customers requiring an update package can agree the schedule for the version update with CSI.

The new and changed functionalities of the version are described in the CSI Lawyer version 10.1 change document. The change document and detailed instructions for the update have been sent to the power users of CSI Lawyer customers downloading their update packages from the web.

Among the awaited new features are e.g. the following:

• Saving attachments larger than 1MB in Notes; The possibility to save attachments larger than 1MB has been returned to most windows.
• Using assignments as templates; Makes it easier to create assignments for the year 2022 in offices where annual assignments are opened for some customers.
• Improved timer functionality; New timers can be opened directly in the timer window, and the time can be edited in 5-minute increments.
• Longer transaction text; The allowed length of the text has been changed from 500 characters to 1000.
• Adding expenses from the assignment list;  The Add Expenses button has been added to the ribbon of the Assignments folder.
• Copying work time entries; Makes it easier e.g. to register longer holiday periods.
• Possibility to select if advance is used for a preliminary invoice; Instead of automatic adjustment, the user can decide if the advance is used on the preliminary invoice.
• Previewing multiple billable assignments at once; Creates a pdf file showing how the invoices of the selected assignments will look if not edited.
• Previewing possibility for e-invoices; Enables previewing of e-invoices before sending them.
• Enhanced Procountor integration; Enables two-way transfer of information; invoices, assignments (+cost centers), payments, and expenses.
• Setting a power user group with access to settings; Possibility to set a separate power user group with access to the software settings. Thus, other power users  only have unlimited rights to other functionalities of the software but no access to the settings area.
