CSI Lawyer 12.0 update package 20.3.24

We’ll release today a new update package for CSI Lawyer 12.0. The update package will fix the following software defects:

Matters

• The warning messages concerning the matter principal were unclear in a situation where the principal had not been identified yet and had overdue invoices or a service restriction. 

Registrations

• A transaction could not even be edited if it had been added to a matter where the principal was still unidentified and, after adding the transaction, an error message was set to be displayed whenever, in the absense of identification, users were adding transactions to matters. 
• CSI MyDesk was unable to obtain the minimum duration and rounding accuracy for a transaction when the user’s business unit was a branch office, the minimum duration and rounding accuracy were specified for that branch office only and the matter belonged to another business unit.
• CSI MyDesk used the wrong minimum duration and rounding accuracy for a transaction in a situation where matter-level settings should have overruled the values defined at the customer or business unit level.

Invoicing/e-invoicing

• The reason for the price adjustments was not saved in the notes of the matter/preliminary invoice.
• On a preliminary invoice, the current reviewer in the review process changed if the matter responsible was changed.
• The previous bugfix concerning the taxability of export salesof private customers has been withdrawn. Taxability is again “Export sales”, not “Taxable”.
• PDF attachments added to e-invoices sent in Peppol format did not reach the recipient as they were classified as pictures of the invoice, which isn’t approved by InExchange.

Bookkeeping integrations

• The Fortnox integration attempted to retransfer cost centers that had already been transferred, generating an unnecessary error message.
• Fortnox was unable to handle cost centers with lowercase letters in its name.
• The Fortnox bookkeeping integration did not transfer payments to the CSI software.
• The Fortnox integration now transfers the cost center to Fortnox also on the invoice level, not just on invoice lines.
• The Procountor integration did not handle OTHERPAYMENTMETHOD payments.

Document management integrations

• M-Files unnecessarily checked the connection to the data repository and gave random error messages even though the connection settings were not configured.

Other

• When moving to the Matters folder in the Role Price List window, the software incorrectly displayed the ribbon of the previous folder.
• The dark themes in CSI left light spots in columns with sorted or filtered data. The borders of the bar containing the view and filter menus continue appearing white because the color is set in the theme.
