CSI Lawyer 12.1 update package 17.2.26

We’ll publish today a new CSI Lawyer 12.1 update package. The version fixes the software defects reported by customers.

Fixed software defects

Customer

• The ‘Other parties’ list in the conflict check was unable to display the icons for private persons and companies.
• The software performed unnecessary searches in the customer’s Matters list, which slowed down the performance of the list.

Matter

• The check of insider register editing rights on a matter behaved incorrectly in the following situations: 1) The Power user could not edit the insider register of an insider matter they had created, 2) A normal user could not edit the insider register of an insider matter they had created, even though they had a responsibility role on the matter, and 3) A normal user was able to edit the insider register on an insider matter where they did not have a responsibility role but had only been added as a team member. After the fix, in the first two situations the user can edit the insider register, and in the third situation editing the insider register is prevented.
• In the matter’s Parties folder, the total amount in the ‘Payer share’ column incorrectly displayed only two decimals.

Transaction

• In the Swedish user interface, in the ‘Öppna åtgärder’ (Open Transactions) view, there were two columns named ‘Skapare’. After the fix, the actual author is displayed as ‘skapare’, and the user who added the information is displayed as ‘skapad av’.

Invoices

• When original invoices or payment reminders were printed in bulk as email attachments (with ‘Print invoices using their own settings’ option), the message text did not follow the language of the matter.

Reporting

• A payment which was adjusted to an invoice for deductible in a matter with legal expenses insurance appeared under advance receivables in the Payment List, instead of under accounts receivable.

Settings

• In the window of a saved expense type, the value of the ‘VAT Base’ field could not be cleared.
• In the settings for the critical task activity type, it was possible to select options that had no effect. After the fix, the corresponding checkboxes can no longer be selected.

Bookkeeping integrations

• The parameters of the old Procountor add‑in (CSI.ModulePlugin.Procountor) were not visible in the Business Unit level parameters.
• The Hogia integration incorrectly synchronized the customer/payers of a closed matter from CSI to Hogia. After the fix, the customer/payers of a closed matter are no longer synchronized.
• The Visma.net integration caused a DivideByZero exception when a zero‑amount payment was being imported into the CSI software. No, the payment row is skipped, and an info/warning message is written to the log if any of the following are 0: AmountPaid, PaymentAmount, CrossRate, or PaymentAmountInCurrency.
