CSI Lawyer update package 18.10.23
18. October, 2023 | Version UpdatesWe’ll release a new update package for CSI Lawyer 11.0 today. The update package will fix the following software errors:
Customer identification
- The previous change in which the validity of the customer identification event was calculated from the identification date instead of the review date has now been cancelled because it caused problems for some customers.
- When a customer identification event was processed and, in the Performed by field, such a user name was entered that was not found in the database, then the field was cleared, another user searched for by using a magnifying glass and enter pressed, the Performed by field remained empty. A red tick was still displayed in front of the field, and the info text still claimed that the user could not be found. The issue is now fixed in all fields of the software that enable the magnifying glass search.
Search function
- If the search was first focused on a specific field (for example, the Payer field in the Invoices folder) and then the tick in the search field was clicked, the search term “From all fields” seemed to return, but in reality the search was still focused only on the Payer field. After the correction, clicking the tick deletes only the text entered in the field and the search destination remains unchanged.
Critical tasks and expenses
- Critical tasks with a status “In progress” were displayed in the critical task calendar as grey instead of red.
- When the price of the expense was edited, the software incorrectly updated the purchase price to match it. The problem concerned both matters in accounting currency and in foreign currency.
Invoices
- In the Estonian invoice printout there was a typo “ünardus” which has now been corrected to “ümardus”.
- The Overdue Invoices folder in the Workplace task area incorrectly displayed also other types of invoices than normal invoices.
- In the “Overdue invoices” view in the Workplace area, a user saw also invoices that others were responsible for.
- When the invoice was opened in the “Overdue invoices” folder in the Workplace tasks area, the invoice window displayed the adjustments and invoice status incorrectly – for example, an invoice that had already been fully paid was displayed as open.
- When an invoice was printed or sent to a customer whose name was very long (in hundreds of characters), the software gave an error message related to the invoice file name and the invoice sending or printing failed.
E-invoicing
- Sending an e-invoice in Peppol 3.0 format to Maventa produced a different PDF file than Finvoice 3.0. After the correction, the PDF button opens an invoice using CSI’s own invoice template, just like in Finvoice 3.0.
