New CSI Lawyer 10.0 update available 24.9.21
24. September, 2021 | Version UpdatesA new update package for CSI Lawyer 10.0 has been published. The update version fixes the following software defects:
- Selecting the Lock button in favorite views removed all filters leaving only the selected view as a favorite.
- The validation of changes in individual windows did not work properly. E.g. in the assignment window, it was possible to move between folders without getting a warning of unsaved changes.
- Moving between data with the top bar’s arrow keys did not work correctly; for example, pressing an arrow key in the Parties folder of the assignment did not open the Parties folder for the next assignment.
- The buttons on the ribbon of the Team Members and Insider Register folders were not consistent. Now, the Team Members folder offers the Link Multiple button and the New button has been replaced with the Link button in the Insider Register folder. This is because the buttons link existing users as members of a team or the insider register and do not create new ones.
- The customer and conflict check field was unable to manage different name formats of private persons so the user had to enter the name to the search field in a specific format.
- In case the customer’s database was large the conflict search was slow and, in the Customer Identifications folder, the views “Assignments with Unfinished Identifications” and “All Identifications” opened slowly.
- Customer identification events were created even when the assignment was internal.
- The parent company’s Subsidiaries folder did not display the subsidiaries in case another company had been merged with a parent company.
- If the insider group was undefined, the software enabled converting an insider assignment request to an assignment which, however, was not an insider assignment.
- The software showed an incorrect notification when the person had been added to the insider register and the start date of the registration was changed.
- In assignments with foreign currency, if the user was added as a team member without setting an hour price, the hour price defined at the user level was retrieved to the foreign currency field, leading to a miscalculated hour price in the bookkeeping currency.
- Printing an assignment list was not allowed in case the list was filtered by the assignment type.
- When setting recurrency for an activity, one of the calculation rule options was the Activity End Date whereas the calculation was actually based on the Activity Completed Date (terminology correction).
- When a transaction which was on a preliminary invoice was moved to another assignment, the software incorrectly left its status as “In Preliminary Invoice”. It also did not check if the user had the rights to move the transaction.
- The invoice status was incorrectly displayed as “Send”, not “Sent”.
- General expenses on invoices were not covered by advance payments.
- In the Documents folder of the customer or the assignment, the use of arrow buttons to navigate between documents made the software crash.
- Marking multiple opportunities as won or lost at once resulted in a summary which was lacking both subject and description.
- When a private person was deactivated, it still remained in the mailing lists.
- When creating a customized view, the query enabled selecting fields whose data could still not be displayed in the view. This has been prohibited.
- Functions which had been changed by a plugin did not appear on the ribbon or in the right-click menu.
- The software requested the user to save changes to the legal aid claim before sending it to Romeo even when there were no changes.
- The Netvisor and Procountor integrations did not transfer an invoice to the accounting system in case the combination of the assignment number and subject (dimension) was too long.
- The Fennoa integration did not take into account the integration start date parameter when moving invoices to Fennoa. Also invoices created before the defined integration start date were moved to Fennoa. When the assignment was set as an insider assignment, SharePoint integrated to the software was unable to manage the limited user access rights.
