New CSI Lawyer 10.1 update available 22.11.21
22. November, 2021 | Version UpdatesA new update package for CSI Lawyer 10.1 will be released today. The update version fixes the following software defects:
- Users who, based on their user group, were only allowed to see their own entries in the subfolders (outside the Workspace area) and who did not have a responsibility role in an assignment nor belong to the user group with extended user rights, were able to see entries made by others in the Transactions folder of assignment requests.
- When editing or creating navigation rights for a “user” user type, target budgets were incorrectly displayed as the option.
- The user access rights worked incorrectly; a user with a responsibility role or belonging to the group with extended access rights was not allowed to delete a team member. The function was enabled only when a user did not belong to either of the above groups.
- If a user group was defined in the parameter which limits the visibility of entries (the group in question can only see their own entries), the users belonging to this group were displayed their own entries only even when they had a responsibility role in the assignment, belonged to a user group having extended rights or had a role as a preliminary invoice reviewer or invoicing contact. Now the security parameter only applies if the user does not have any of the special roles mentioned above.
- When a user was deactivated from the user list, the user’s hour price defined in the user window was set to zero.
- Customers with both active and history databases were not able to log into the history database with a new software version.
- Assignments whose visibility was not limited were not displayed to standard users in the conflict check’s assignment list unless the user had a responsibility role in the assignment.
- The conflict search was still slowly.
- Deactivation of a customer was possible although there were records preventing the deactivation (such as movable property, open advanced and open invoices) in case they were set as preventive events anywhere else than in the main business unit or system parameters.
- It was not possible to select an invoicing contact for a private person.
- For assignment parties, it was possible to save payer shares not resulting in a total of 100%.
- Previewing a preliminary invoice resulted in an error, if at least one transaction text was longer than 500 characters.
- After changing the shares of payers, the preview of preliminary invoices displayed the totals incorrectly.
- If the CSI.ModulePlugin.PreliminaryInvoice.CreateValidator AddIn, which limits rights to create preliminary invoices, was installed and the user group authorized to create preliminary invoices defined, the software crashed when a user belonging to that user group logged into the software and opened any of the assignment lists.
- When a normal invoice was printed as an email attachment and the user clicked the link of the selected email template in the Invoice printing parameters window, the email template was first opened in the read-only status, but by clicking different buttons it was possible to get the email template to the format enabling editing.
- When the Dashboard area was defined as the default area, it opened when a user logged into the software but did not load the dashboard charts, leaving the area empty.
- The dashboard was not displayed for a user if the user type was undefined.
- When the user interface language was English or Swedish and the user drilled down to details in a Pivot report, the software did not display translations added to the report but all its titles were in Finnish. The same problem appeared when opening the report in the Settings or in the Reporting task area.
- The Netvisor integration transferred from to CSI all payments instead of the adjusted ones only. In the CSI software, a payment remained unadjusted in cases where there was a former invoice which was cancelled, a new invoice was created and the payment was adjusted to the new invoice in Netvisor.
- The Fennoa integration incorrectly transferred from CSI to Fennoa all assignments with their customer information instead of moving just assignments which were not transferred previously.
