New CSI Lawyer 11.0 update package 16.11.22

We’ll release a new update package for CSI Lawyer 11.0 today. The update version fixes the following software defects:

• The software allowed saving the customer information although the address information fields set as mandatory were left empty.
• When a user tried and delete a matter which had a sub-matter, the software gave an unclear error message and the delete action failed.
• When updating the software to version 11.0, the currency of role price lists disappeared which made the role price lists unusable.
• Even when the matter language was different from the user interface language, the transaction text of a transaction which was added in the matter was displayed in the user interface language.
• The software displayed an error message and prevented opening a transaction posting period for a week whose start date was not on the open fiscal year.
• When a user closed an assignment that had open activities, the activities were marked as Done, but the status of the activity did not change to Passive.
• When previewing a preliminary invoice, the advance row was not displayed if legal insurance information had been defined for the payer.
• When a price adjustment was made for a preliminary invoice/invoice with cost-forward expenses, the software changed the price for the cost-forward expenses.
• It was possible to create a new customer to the software through the preliminary invoice’s Payer folder.
• When an approved preliminary invoice was returned as reviewed, the fields in the preliminary invoice payer window remain locked until a user closed the payer window and reopened it.
• For some customers, the email template which was set as default was not automatically prefilled in the Invoice Printing Parameters window.
• When an invoice was printed as a PDF, its status was not changed to Printed and the PDF file was not saved in the notes of the invoice.
• When opening a report of transaction entry periods (last 12 months), the window for filtering results displayed the year and week selection as decimal fields and not as integers.
• The Downloading Reports function failed in case any of the reports to be downloaded had been added as a quick selection for a user group.
• Although the language for the “Prices and Discounts Defined for Customers” report was English or Swedish, the report also contained some Finnish.
• In the language settings the languages were listed by the language codes and not the language names.
• Setting a status reason for opportunities with a status ‘Won’ or ‘Active’ was not possible. Now it can be set for an opportunity by selecting the Status Reason button on the ribbon.
